About us and our history

The vision and background

With a history of over 300 years of stone masonry within our family, we wanted to create something together that was unique and accessible to everyone.

The stone garden buildings were created based on the concept of a long barrow.  We were fortunate to see our Dad, Geraint Davies, be a big part of the long barrow in All Cannings which he designed and built using traditional methods of construction.

With stone masonry running through our veins, we wanted to keep the Davies legacy moving forward into the future!

About Katie

The ‘slightly’ older sibling. From a young age Katie remembers her dad taking her to work with him to stunning homes where she watched him create beautiful stone buildings, bridges, garden features. After some time studying at Shuttleworth she followed a route to architecture and in 2013 she set up her own architectural practice.

About James

James' career path took him to become the next generation of stone masons within the family. He also worked on the long barrow and learnt his skills from his Dad. He has since set up his own successful stone masonry company building stunning stone features, buildings, and extensions.
